This takes time

LUXURY INSIGHTS | October 19, 2025
Timeless insights for luxury brands.

Multiple times every year I receive luxury brand copywriting inquiries with timeline requests of one week or less.

Sometimes these are smaller projects, but oftentimes they are not, and while I absolutely understand that urgent situations and opportunities arise, most of the time these requests are simply a result of copywriting being left to the very last minute…despite the products or services having been in development for months, sometimes years.

There are times when I can and do take these projects on as scheduling allows (I even introduced a VIP Day service to accommodate these requests), but I urge luxury brands to think ahead and consider copywriting as a craft, just as any other.

01. INSIGHT

True craftsmanship is never born of haste.

The pursuit of excellence requires patience, precision, and the quiet confidence to let ideas mature into brilliance.

When one rushes the creative process, or seeks shortcuts, the results forfeit the intangible grace that only time bequeaths.

Like fine art, a tailored suit, or a well-aged wine, brilliant luxury brand copywriting demands discipline and depth, and it is only through intentional pacing and strategic reflection that writing evolves into something truly exceptional.

02. INSPIRATION

“There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.”

— Beverly Sills

03. INTENTION

What do you owe more time, dedication, and thoughtfulness to?

Remember, luxury assumes excellence and excellence takes time.

Make it an exceptional week,
