Please remember these two words

LUXURY INSIGHTS | December 7, 2025
Timeless insights for luxury brands.

The contemporary world we live in favors the quick, the convenient, and the automatic.
Plus, in an age of AI, human interaction is declining rapidly.

So, please join me in doing our part to keep good old-fashioned courtesy alive.

Luxury depends on it.

01. INSIGHT

Simple courteous acts like saying “please” and “thank you” hold exceptional weight in the luxury sector because they reinforce the sense of personal attention and respect that defines true luxury.

In a fast-paced, digital world where interactions often feel transactional and automated, these small gestures signal sincerity, care, and human presence.

Politeness not only enhances a client’s emotional experience with your brand, it also conveys your brand’s commitment to tradition, refinement, and exceptional service…and those are the values that distinguish luxury brands from generic commodity brands.

02. INSPIRATION

“‘Please’ says I respect you and
‘Thank You’ says I appreciate you.”

— Robin Sharma

03. INTENTION

Please take a look at your marketing communications and sprinkle in some “pleases” and “thank yous” as appropriate.

Are there instances where you say “Kindly,…” or “Click…” that you could preface with
a “please”?
Are there opportunities to share your gratitude more by saying a simple, but meaningful “thank you”?

It may not seem monumental, but in a world of often faceless communication, please and thank you are two words that can make an enormous difference.

Remember, for luxury to succeed it must feel personal.

Make it a fabulous week,
